Whether streaming high-definition movies, gaming online, or connecting multiple devices simultaneously, U Mobile’s 5G Home ensures a seamless and lag-free experience.

This plan from U Home 5G costs RM68 a month and lets you use 5G and 4G as much as you want with no speed limits. U Mobile said its 5G download speed is at least 100Mbps, which is the same speed that Digital Nasional Berhad promises across its entire 5G network. As for 4G, the Ookla speed test says that U Mobile’s network can offer average speeds of 23 Mbps.

The U Home 5G is a SIM-only data plan that doesn’t come with a contract. It can be used as a hotspot or without one. You’ll need your own 5G router to use the service. If they see that you are abusing their service or using more than 1000GB of data quickly, they may slow it down. The terms and conditions say the speed will drop to 512kbps when the Fair Usage Policy (FUP) cap is reached.

If 1000GB isn’t enough, U Mobile has an RM30 U Home 5G add-on with 1000GB. That means for just RM98 a month, you can get 2000GB of 5G data. That comes out to only five sen per GB.
